I remember September 11th like yesterday. I heard on the radio that there had been an attack on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. I was on my way to school and Everyone on the bus was very attentive to the radio that was relaying the dredful news to us. When I got to school all I could hear was rumers about how there was bombs and ammo and so on. I figured that I would be better off just ignoring the rumers 'till I got home from school. In my English class we had the T.V. on and all of us were paying attention to the details and, of course, the accusations. I very specifically remember that my teacher said not to say anything to anyone about what their country did because their country is not them, and they can't control what their country or it's people do. That wasn't even to mention that we still weren't sure exactly who did it. I was then, after 1st period, that I was so anxious to get home and see the news. Now, about nine months after the 9-11 tragedy occured, I still don't go even one day without being reminded of the many who aren't here today.

I got up at about 6:30 to a blasting sound of terror. I ran to my parents’ room just in time to see the first tower fall. I saw people crying, screaming and running to get out of the way of the massive building. That wasn’t the end… I had also found out that two other places were hit. Those places were that Pentagon and Camp David. I thought to myself man who would do such a thing to this wonderful country.

During the next few days of school every teacher and student was talking about the tragic events of 9/11. Every television turned to a station that had updates and stories. Our school even had a moment of silence where the whole school gathered around the flagpole.

When I found out that we were going to war I prayed every night that my cousins and other relatives the best. A lot of my family members are in the Armed Forces and I’ll admit I was really scared for them.

I would just like to say Thank-you to all of those to is out there fighting for our wonderful country.

GOD BLESS THE U.S.A!!!

On september 11th, when the terrible disaster happened, I was at home, sleeping. Actually, when the first reports appeared on CNN, I was closing my eyes, it didn't interested me at first, because I didn't thought it was the World Trade Center on fire, and I thought it was "only" a small fire. I say "only" because as you know, here in Israel we have lots of terror attacks every day, and a burning building in NY seemed to me as a regular thing.
About an hour later, I woke up and my mother told that the first building of the "Twins" had collapsed. I was definitely shocked...

Hi I remember getting up and getting ready for school. I turned on the T.V.
and that is all they had on every channel you turned too. I remember waking my Mom up and telling her to turn on the T.V. in her room to see what was going on and what had happened to the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Then I remembered that my Uncle Thomas was stationed up in Washington D.C.. So then I began to get a little worried if he was somehow anywhere near the Pentagon when it happened. I went to school that day, it was sort of weird like there was this cloud hanging over everywhere. The sky was really blue an there wasn't an airplane of any kind at all anywhere flying that was a really weird feeling because my high school looks out on Pearl Harbor and it was really quiet like nothing was going on. Like everyone was in one big state of suspended animation. Like just total shock that it didn't really happen and this was just one big shared nightmare and we were all going to wake up from it soon. The only problem was that when it finally sank in we were already awake and it all did really happen. I remember hearing later that my Aunty Gina had been up since 4 A.M. trying to find out if my uncle was okay or not. We were all very thankful when we found out that he was okay. I'm also very proud of my uncle because he had a really hard job to do afterward when it came time to search for any survivors in the Pentagon and removing all of the deceased. I don't think I could have done that.

The day that struck everyone's life, was the day that i woke up to a phnoe call at about 4:35am which was on September 11, 2001. My grandma said, "We're being attacked! Tell your parents to turn on to the news." So we hung up and i went to my parent's room. but i turned on the tv to channel 03 before waking them up. After hearing the tragedy, i couldn't sleep anymore. i was thinking and praying for all the lives that were lost and those that were affected. i went to school like normal telling myself that it didn't happen. Then as i sat down in my seat during period 01, all i could hear was my teacher and my classmates asking and talking about what they know. so i thought to myself, "no, all those people...what'll happen next?" and i realized that our nation really is being attacked.
