I was at school. When I found out... that was a different story. It was French class, third period, and I was just sitting there playing around when my friend Mark came in to get signed out for the day. And the way he said it echoes through my mind, "Dude, did you hear about the terrorists?" He's a hippy figure. The teacher got aggrivated and thought that he was spreading rumors about terrorists in the school, so he was kicked out of the room. And then the news began a-brewin', and the teacher soon apologized to him for her rude actions to the truth.

I was asleep. Our school has sleep-in days on Tuesday mornings, and I woke up an hour later than usual. A few minutes before I was about to leave, my mom called me from work, asking if my dad was awake yet. He was, so I told her so, and the she told me to tell him to turn on the tv, that some planes had been hijacked and attacked the World Trade Center. I had no idea what she was talking about, until I turned on the TV and saw the smoke and then saw them collapse. My dad was sitting there, just saying 'Oh my GOD.'
I kept feeling chills just watching it, and it took me a while to understand fully what had happened. I don't even remember what I was feeling until I saw one of my friends who's cousin works near the Trade Center, and I remember feeling so terribly upset. I suppose before that I was in shock.

I was sitting in my 9th grade Chemistry class, when all of a sudden the computer lab teacher came in and said, "Turn on the TV. The World Trade Center is on fire." as though it were the most normal thing in the world. I could be wrong, but the chemistry teacher said, "Cool!" and turned on the TV. It was then when I realized the extent of what just happened. By that time it was after the second plane crashed, and they were showing the footage of the crash. I kept thinking to myself, "Whoever did this wanted everyone to see the second plane crash live." The strange thing is, my emotions never really changed through the whole event. It was only after that I started to really think about it.

as soon as i woke up, i remember that i had forgotten to take out the trash the night before, so i grabbed the wastepaper basket and went outside.
my mom was standing in our driveway, i think getting the morning papers, and she just said 'something really huge has happened,' so i followed her inside and we sat at the television watching it all unfold on the 'today show.'

I was at school and during second block they told us what had happened.
It was freaky really cause they way the told us. I was getting sick just 5 mins before they told us.. I guess I sensed something was wrong.
I went to Rachel's house and we watched it on TV.. I couldn't really believe it..
I guess I'm not moving to NY anytime soon now...
I'm so sorry that all those people died, even though I can't do anything about it.
I love everyone now.. You never know when they too, might leave this world. I don't hold grudges really.
