I was sitting down in my apartment eating breakfast...turned on "The Today Show" I was wondering why they had the camera on the Trade Center. Matt Lauer was saying they were thinking an accident.Then as they were talking and still showing the one tower in flames...I witness the second plane hit!!!! I was like "Oh my...." At hat moment Matt said we are under attack by terrist.

Hi,I'm not American but I feel as I were one of you..not only from September 11th 2001,but since I was born..and last year,I was at home,here in Italy,and when I watched TV I thought about a nightmare,but sadly it was real..everything..I love the U.S.everything it means..with it's contraddictions,and it's freedom..I whish THE BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF YOU..

I was in my bedroom in Merrick (Long Island) just after receiving all my furniture delivered to me that morning from IKEA. I was debating about whether or not to go to Ithaca to visit my friend and see a show, but I was coming down with a cold, so I was unsure if I was going to go.
I sat on my bed, bored because I was up much earlier than I'd wanted to be (I was moving to Philadelphia in four days and didn't have a job anymore) and that is when I turned on the news and watched it all.

I was sitting at my desk at work and someone had come up to me and said, "Did you hear about the World Trade Center, a plain just hit it." I thought, wow, I wonder what happened with the plain to make it crash. Then I heard about the second one. I knew right then, it wasn't an accident. My husband wrote me an email that said "Happy Birthday, Huh?" From now on, my birthday will always be linked with this tragic event.

at 845am, I was getting off the train in philadelphia, and walking to work. around 855am I stepped in to my office, and found everyone standing in the conference room watching the tv. I saw the second plane hit live on tv.
the day was a slow blur, I actually did work until about 1130, when it kinda sank in what was going on. official word went out that the mayor had ordered the city evacuated of all non-essential personel, the trains were either stopped, or running, depending on who you talked too. I made my way to a friends house in south philly. stayed there until the end of the day, when my Girl Friend came and got me in her car.
