I was fishing when America was attacked.
Frankly speaking I thanked God as America is always arrogant and selfish.
Sep 11th attack took the lives of some 2800 Americans.
How many innocent Afghans has America killed since?
How many Palestinians are killed by the American backed Israel with American made weapons everyday?
How many innocent Iraqi children are dying everyday of American sanctions?
So what's so special about September 11th?
Before I end this message I send my sincere condolences for the ill-fated families of the Sep 11th attck. May God Bless those all who lost their lives on Sep 11th.

September 11 started like any other day for me. I work at an Elementary School and we all were getting ready for the day to begin and taking precautions just in case. I went outside to do my normal duty as the cross walk person and I got hit by a car who did not stop at the stop sign I was holding. I went down in pain on the ground I did not get his liscense plate number, I only got his car make and model. I just recently had surgery on my knee for that injury. For the past 6 months everytime I would take a step I felt so much pain I never thought I would be the same. I am in recovery and going through therapy right now and I feel so much better. I do realize the events of that day were hard for so many and I could never feel their pain of losing someone they loved or cared so much about, but I do have a strong feeling for this day that I am going through that so many of my friends and family are having a hard time understanding. I will always have a place in my heart for this day for myself and for so many others who have lost. God Bless.

I had been at work for about an hour when the first reports started coming in about 0752 CDT. I was thinking that it was a small plane that had hit the North tower, I was thinking that maybe fog had caused a small plane to get lost and collide with the building (It had happened before in 1946, I think, to the Empire State building.) I went out to the CNN website and saw that it was not a small plane and that something much more terrible had happened (still thinking accidental, though.) We have a lounge where I work that had a big screen television and I decided to go see if more information was available. I arrived just in time to see the second plane hit the South tower. I remember (and always will) seeing the plane seem to disappear behind the second tower and counting to myself, one thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three, one thousand four when the explosion came out the opposite side. I don’t know why I counted; it seems rather odd what you remember at the time. At that point everyone was glued to radios or watching a television that we had managed to hook up near the area I work. I was angry knowing that this wasn’t an accident and this seemed to be confirmed when about 0940 CDT, the reports came in that a plane had hit the Pentagon. I was angry now and in part I felt I had failed somehow. I am a veteran of the Gulf War and of seven years service in the United States Marine Corps. It was in part due to not keeping the “Barbarians from storming the gates,” so to speak. We then heard that one of the towers had collapsed, I was able to get in front of the TV, when about 30 minutes later I witnessed the second one collapse, we had it on the FOX News channel, and the commentator, (from the NY Fox affiliate) said “We are witnessing history, the World Trade Center stands no more.” It seems odd that even after six months, I can still remember every moment of that long, terrible day. On my way home, (I took the train downtown from near the airport) I got off the train and was walking to my car when I noticed the unnatural quiet because no planes were flying.

I'm an American living in Canada. The morning of the attack, I was on my way to the university when I heard something on a radio on the bus about a plane crashing into the WTC. At first I thought it was some kind of "War of the Worlds" radio show, until I asked if that was for real. Someone else on the bus nodded and said that it was on tv that morning. I was so shocked I couldn't say anything else. I went to the coffee shop on campus and tried to log onto the CNN or CBC site to see what was going on. The coffee shop turned on the radio so that we could hear. Everyone was shocked and I was getting upset because I have a friend who lives and works near Ground Zero. The whole day was a daze for me. I thought about going home, but it seemed better for me if I could be around friends. When I got home I turned on CNN and watched the days events. I cried for days. We observed the moments of silence and had a memorial service on campus, which was nice. I still get upset just thinking about it now, 6 months later. I'm not sure I ever really processed it all. I had to stop watching the news after a few days because I didn't and couldn't watch the footage of the planes running into the buildings and the towers collapsing any more.

Just got up to report for duty (Air Force). Turned the TV on and thought I was dreaming. Got ready the rest of the way and went to work. We heard a second plane hit the WTC we all looked at each other, we all had looks that I will never forget. When the plane hit the Pentagon it was a little more obvious our country was under attack. The surprise turned to rage as we heard the unfolding events. We went into threat condition Delta and it all hit home, we were at war.
To the people who read this and are involved, the US military will find you, and punish you. You will never win, the American spirit will never die. We in the military are not afraid to die for our country. Our country is larger that you will ever understand. Think about using weapons of mass destruction and you will pay the full wrath of the U.S. Military. No weapon will be out of the picture in terms of use. The American people will expect nothing short of that.
