When the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were hit last year I was in my 1st period English class but I heard about it in my 2nd period Choir class. I was only a Junior last year in High School and now I'm a Senior in High School and I still have trouble believing that this actually happened to our country again. I wasn't born when Pearl Harbor was attack but like they said then about the "sleeping giant being woke up". I guess you could say that they woke us up again. Please never forget about that horrible day in September because I know I won't ever forget.

I was on the air, doing the morning shift at a radio station. One of our advertising sales people called me and told me to turn on the television in the studio. I did so, just in time to see the second plane hit the World Trade Center. I ceased regular programming immediately, and turned on our news network feed, which was providing continuous coverage. We also added local news relating to the attacks throughout the day. I got to work that morning at 5:30 a.m., and got home after 10:00 p.m. It took me a long time to get to sleep.

this is a day we will never & should never forget if i was'nt disabled i would of inlisted in the air force too get the ones responsible the cowardly act of 9/11 we must never forget & if you are old enough you should inlist it is a privelige

September 11, 2001. I was a senior at a magnet high school in San Antonio, and while the district didn't even allow its schools to acknowledge what had happened over the announcement and had put a ban on watching tv's for the day, every room in my small high school was tuned to CNN. People were on cell phones, trying to contact their family and friends in New York City. Teachers and students were comforting one another, and praying together.
I was in a state of shock. I never thought that during my life time I would bear witness to such horrific tragedy; that one day my children will ask me where I was on that day. I lost a very dear friend, who had been working at his internship in the second tower. His memory and the memory of everyone who died in the attacks will forever be remembered and honored.
The world will never be the same.

I just got back home from taking my kids to school. We were moving into our new home on Sept 15, and I started to pack some more boxes. I was due to have another baby in October, so I was exhausted from packing and decided to call my husband at work to say hello. He asked me if I had the t.v. on, and I did not. I switched it on just in time to see the North Tower collapse. The horror of it all did not completely grip me until I saw replayed footage of people jumping from the towers. I have had continual nightmares about those images. All I could think was how mad I was that someone could do this. Today 9/11/02 was bittersweet....as I thought of all the lives lost last 9/11, I got my first glimpse of a new life. I am having yet another baby and the first ultrasound was today.
