I'd just come home from school and saw my Dad and the window cleaner staring at the the TV. I had to go to tennis immediatley for coahcing but I just sat there shocked for about an hour and then went to tennis, not realising the extent of everything until I returned home later. God bless the families of all those innocent people ad may there be peace to them all resting in the arms of God.

I was off of school that day because i was ill. I suddenly heard my Mum gasp, so i ran into the living room, just in time to see the second plane crash into the world trade centre. Soon after that i fell asleep only to be greeted with my mum telling me another plane had hit the Pentagon.
I was horrified, it realy scared me and made me feel even worse than i already was.
My heart goes out to all that have lived through this event, especially those who lost friends or family and those living in America. All of my admiration goes to all who helped, wether it was rescuing or cleaning the rubble.

I was at home with my one year old daughter watching TV. The programme finished and they said there was a newsflash. The newsreader said "a second plane has hit the World Trade Centre", and then they showed the plane flying into it. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end, and a cold chill went through me - it was obvious it wasn't an accident. It was like the end of the world was coming. I just wanted to pick my five year old daughter up from school and know she was safe.
We were all glued to the TV for the rest of the day in a state of shock. My boyfriend and I couldn't stop crying at the images we saw.
I am so sorry for people who lost a loved one in this attack, please know that we are thinking of you.

hey
on the day at the time i was in school. They never told us we were kept from the news until i returned home to switch on the television and see the horrific pictures that occured every so often to show the happens in new york and washington. I hope now that we can remeber the brave people and i hope nothing like this will ever happen again.
